I agree, rosters won't win in Legion Ball. It's a completely different game.

Winners in Legion are the teams who WANT to be out there playin in the 90plus weather everyday.

And can't you only have 18 on a roster? You list like 25...?

Yep you're right JM15, The roster will have to be cut to 18, but that date hasn't come yet, and some hard decisions are going to be made!

The only ones I can be sure about at this time are:
    South Meck
    Providence
    East Meck
Butler (Newell post didn't field a team)
    Charlotte Christian
    Charlotte Country Day

With number of schools represented wouldn't the "student enrollment" exceed the number allowed in grades 10-12? I think the number is 4,000. Just curious.

Pineville supposedly had the roster with the stacked team last year, and many of the players off of that team are returning this year. Didn't Pineville finish second in their division last year behind Charlotte Post 262? Thought I'd help Southpaw out by stirring the stew a little bit. You don't win games by turning in the lineup card. You gotta get the job done on the field.

I was informed that Pineville 337 and other Posts in the city of Charlotte utilize zones for recruiting & player eligibility.
The players domicile decides where he can play, therefore a player cannot play outside his zone boundary. I hope this clarifies this a bit for you!

    BudMan:

In regard to your comment: "Kind of like everyone at South Meck gave it to the Sabres this year?"

I really don't think that anyone AT South Meck gave IT or anything to the Sabres this year?!? Yes, the preseason polls put South Meck in the top 10 teams in 4A NC baseball play but I don't think that anyone AT South Meck had anything to do with those polls?!? IF anything was given to South Meck, IT was the prospect of possibly having a productive season in 2003 and no more that I know of?!?
