    Who am i to question anything but when you go up to cherryville you should go up there with the attitude to win. Pineville sat 4 of their starters and it showed! I am glad everybody played i just would love to beat them one time. The crowed up their is awesome and it would be great to win!!!!

    Glad you had a good time. I am also glad to hear there was a good crowd. I couldn't make it, and was concerned that alot of folks would be worn out after the NC/SC challenge last weekend.

    great place

    Hey nugget!! It wasnt the big crowd i am used to but it is always the best play to go play legion games anywhere!!! I still remember watching Chris Mason dominate everybody he faced!!! He was the best legion pitcher i have ever seen throw the ball!!!

    Yes, I have heard about Mason. That was right about the time I got to that area. I think that the big pitcher the first season I got to watch alot of games was Chris Henderson.

    I have not made it over to Rowan Co. yet, but I hear they have great support for their legion team.

    I have been to Shelby, and I know first hand that they have a good program and support every year. AND, ..... They were just recently awarded the Legion World Series for 4 years begining next season, 2011!! I think all legion fans are excited about that, even if your favorite team is not in the finals. I am very happy for the people in Shelby that worked so hard to go after this event, and to win it for 4 years!
