WOW.....unbelievable!!! Anything over a 100 any time of year at the High School level is crazy.

I understand wanting to win as much as the next guy.....but how do you do that to a kid......shame on the Coach!!!! :scared:

    Does anyone have details?

It's hard to imagine 179 pitches in seven innings.....was this an extra-inning game? If so, how long?

If you throw 179 in seven innings, you're giving up way too many hits or way too many walks (or both)......it just got me to wondering.

Cape Fear Christian had a 17-8 lead going into the bottom of the seventh-- a nine run lead and the kid still pitched the entire frame--gave up 6 runs, two hits and walked three in the bottom of the seventh

This never would have happened to my son. That coach would not have liked what I would have to say even when the count got close to 100. That poor kid.

Why would any parent allow that to happen?????
I not standing up for the coach, but the parent had to take responsibility as well! That is just STUPID!

That is not a coach. That is an idiot. Ban him Braves. Screw up a kid's arm to win a ballgame. I have never been to a game where this would be acceptable. Championships included.
