Looking for a good pitching instructor for my daughter? We live in the RTP area. What price would they usually charge? Any suggestions?

welcome viking1 to this board rocks softball forum.

i would ask that our members respond with the pricing issue in a pm, as we really dont care to discuss prices among pitching coaches....

Two places come to mind... "Grand Slam" in Raleigh and "Base Hits" in Pittsboro. Talk with the folks at these places and I'm sure they can help you find what you're looking for.

Also, you can give some of the local college coaches a call. They know who the good ones are and it's a good way to begin a little rapport with them!

He works with a lot of good pitchers in that area.

Thank you for all the replies and PM's. I went with Gman13'sdad advice and came up with a pitching instructor out of UNC. A young lady who pitches for the Tarheels. Thanks again.

Sorry, a little late on here but if she doesn't work out for you, I'm pretty sure Leigh Ann Ellis, pitching coach at NC State gives lessons. She was a heckuva pitcher in college, & is in the NCAA record books.

I had checked with Leigh Ann. She is filled up. I went with Dani Spaulding (UNC).
