    Jim Daley is one awesome pitching instructor and a heck of a nice guy, has the ability to get into the girls heads and make them think about how to throw a pitch and why it moves that way....

    I remember one cold, dreary day during Christmas break in 2007, I'd taken my then High School Freshman DD to the local warehouse to have a pitching workout. When we got there, there was a pitcher already throwing in the first zone, so we took the back one next to them. I thought she looked familiar, but I couldn't place her. Her catcher turned out to be her mother, and when I asked who the girl was, she turned out to be former Hillcrest High standout and [the real] USC Senior pitcher Kate Pouliot home for winter break. I don't think my DD threw harder at any practice that fall.

    Our pitchers still use his method of throwing the "CHANGE UP" is by far the least difficult way to throw the change, and it is just as effective as the way most teach the pitch..
