Pitt Community College wins Region X

    After finishing 2nd in the regular season, PCC waltzed through the Region X Div. 1 Conference tournament by beating Surry 13-3, Florence-Darlington Tech 12-4, USC Sumter 9-6, and Sumter again 18-2. PCC advances to the Eastern District Championship to be played at PCC's Minges-Overton Baseball Complex May 21-22. The opponent has yet to be determined.
