maybe Guru should go back to work and not always reply to every post. That way he does not need money!

Sarca. Why do you attack an icon like GURU? LOL
Its a little known fact that he actualy gets paid to post as a matter of fact he gets paid by the post so if you think he posts too often now just wait until his DD starts college.

    Can't Help But To Agree......

.....with CatchDad here. He's right, dead on right. Spending $ on our kids is what we EARN IT FOR! Who gives a crap beyond that? .........LOL, my dad would say "I can't take it with me, but I'll look damn good buried with it". ......He was also the man who bought bats, gloves, and uniforms for any and all! A good sense of humor. like GURUs, is welcome in threads like this one!

    Yep It's Been Fun !!

On the serious side, and yes all those Guru haters I do have a serious side--LOL--- The Guru wouldn't change a thing except maybe taking more sleeping pills the night before the tournaments...LOL..I have been told by many as much money as you have already spent you could have already paid for college..MAYBE, but not the FUN / Time I've spent with my kid ( PRICELESS, I AGREE ) !!! I have (2) more years as long as the DD doesn't let boys get in her way or other unimportant venues, but whatever ,we shall see what lies ahead of us and my DD's future in the greatest game of all "SOFTBALL" !!!

    Great coaching

Monie and O made a great team as they were different in their approach but both had a great deal of knowledge of the game. Yea, we played at Nova, at a rec area with no fences, and got teased with a couple games at Bamford, back of complex and then of course Picolo with no fences as well. It took e-mails, phone calls, and face to face conversations with coaches to get them there. That said, I will never forget the 8am Sunday game at the rec. field when we counted 23 college coaches watching our game, 20 D-1's and the 5:30 game against the Texas Peppers Gold when we blasted them for five runs and their coach pulled half the team. The Peppers had just finished top 10 in Gold Nationals, I believe and had never heard of Blues. That game may have been the start of our drive to Nationals and Colorado. Hopefully, we will continue to play well as our youngsters grow.

    Been there .....

.....done that as well. Rising Stars Showcase obviously requires longevity participation by a coach or team or org. Thats the only way our DDs will play at Bamford in the future.
