Students and parents must sign a paper validating they are eligible to play at their schools. Who checks these? I believe every school principle should have to sign a statement saying their school has checked and each player is 100% eligible to play at their school. These should be made public on their school web site. If there ARE any exceptions, (guardianship, address) it should also be accessable to any coach/parent. There is always talk of inelibible players but the only a few schools have been punished and none recently. No one ever wants to turn their friends in but it is the schools responsibility and not other players. Also here should be a place for students to anonymously turn in people that are not eligible or are breaking the rules. The eligibility rules shoudl also be posted on each schools web site. If it is proven that the school isnt 100% truthful and the principle should be held accountable. Just sayin.

    Reply to Crump.........

What do you mean when you say "just saying"? Does it mean you don't really believe what you posted? You don't want to defend the statement?

    ....Just asking.........

By the way a school principal is not "principle".

    ......Just saying......

Each school has to complete an eligibility form for each sport that certifies that the players are eligible to play at that school..the form is kept on file at the school and can be checked at any time by the NCHSAA. The form is signed by the AD and the Principal so it is ultimately their responsibility to be sure that the form is correct
