Long time no speak dribbles...it must be getting close to hoops season. As far as I know Washington hasn't committed to any school.

I would agree that Washington and Ford will be the top two players in the conference and i think when it is all over Washington will be the POY?????

As for us (SC). We have the most overall talent we've had since Andrews, Reid and the Joplin girls were here around 1999. Our starting point guard Gross is a sophmore. She is a very good player who can score inside and out. We have 3 freshmen that are good right now but with a little time will be very good. Freshman Madison Hall is a do everything type player with a ton of athletic ability that don't play like a freshman. Another freshman Boston, is a post player that can run the floor has good hands and finishes real well. She has the height needed just need to fill out a little physically but that will come. Katie Sharpe another freshman is a blue collar type player who can score, handle the point, or play the post. Look for big things from her on both ends of the court. Another sophmore that will have a big impact is Sarah ? (can't remember her last name). May be the best pure shooter on the team and can also handle the ball. Junior Allision Minton a 3 year starter will battle down under and score a lot on trash baskets. She is another player who can do anything ask of her. Mix in two senoir post players and SC should have a pretty good team.

Alexanders girls are looking pretty good this year compared to previous years. Hopefully we can pick up a couple conference wins this year.

This is the way I see it. Washington has not signed yet but will be a valuable asset to a
D-2 program or maybe a small D-1 school. She is a force inside with her speed and ability
to get rebounds and put them back in and she can also hit the 3 although she doesn’t shoot
a lot of them. Ford will need a growth spurt if she hopes to go to a big D-1 program. I say
this because I sit behind an ACC scout at the Freedom scrimmage and the first thing he
wrote beside of Ali’s name when the game started was -SMALL. She will have to have
the speed of a Latta if she hopes to play at that level and I haven’t seen that yet. Yes she is
a very good player and can shoot the lights out from outside when open but it will be
different at the next level and size means a lot.
