Players to watch this year

    How about a thread to recoginize potential breakout years for current players.

    Let me start with a young man from Southpoint HS, gastonia.

    Christian Lawerance is a junior at SP, a meer 6'4" guard who should have a fantastic year in conference play.

    This young man played for the Charlotte Royals this summer as a guard and averaged 10 ppg playing with some of the top players in north carolina as well as a few serbian(sp?) players.

    He was rated one of the top 11 players in this league and i'm impressed with his demeanor both on the court and off.

    Talking to the head coach at my hs, he stated that Christian is one of the players he's concerned about this year, after last years performances and his potential for improvement being so great.

    Lets give a few players their 15 minutes of fame.
