Stick 'em here. Looks like rain for Friday. Some will play, some wont. But all Round One scores will go here. Good Luck while you're still alive!

Just heard on the radio that Newton Conover leads Graham 30-0 at the half.

That's right, I left as the 2nd string came in with about 2 min. left before half. NC's defense looks very strong tonight. Dorian Jones for NC already has 130+ yrds 2tds. Bazzle has 1 passing td, one running td.

    Maiden 14
    Starmount 7

Crest leads Watauga 21-7 at the half.......game has been in a lighting delay since about 8:50.

Is the East Burke-South Meck score a final?

    Thanks Nathan

Mooresville led 21-7 in the second half but a safety on a bad snap to the punter let Sun Valley back in the door. They added a touchdown in the fourth quarter to close to within 21-16 and a Mooresville punt pinned them at their own 15 with 4:40 left to play. QB Andy Capone drove the Spartans to the Mooresville 15 with 22 seconds remaining. But a holding call backed them up and Capone was sacked at the Mooresville 40 as time expired.

Mooresville got another big game from Jjshaun Pinkston and Demarion Sherrill came up with a pair of interceptions.

I'm getting too old for this. lol

Mooresville now awaits the winner of the Kings Mountain/Hickory game to see who they'll play next week.

ROUND 2 BABY! GO BIG BLUE!
