    Hitman had the score correct. Ashbrook 2 TC Roberson 1

    NCBBALLFAN - what a pitcher's dual! It was not the slugfest you predicted. Both starters threw complete games. Ashbrook's McCall gave up three hits and the Freshman pitcher from TC gave up five. I wish I knew his name, but I'll have to wait until tomorrow's Gazette.

    I was there coach - sat in the bleachers behind homeplate til the 4th inning - then was standing around the Kannapolis dugout on the first base line the rest of the game. I was probably right next to you and never knew it

    N. Meck won. I think the final score was 9-7. But I will say this Mcdowell was not the best team in the nw4a but they most definatly did deserve to go to the playoffs because they were the best team left. our conference only got 2 teams in this year and just because AC and Watagua were disqulified the other teams should not be punished for their mistakes

    Gib is 9-0 on the year, 17-1 last two seasons
