In Softball - Can a scoring error be corrected after another inning has been played? If an umpire tells one coach that a run scored, but did not confirm with his partner or the other team, can this run be removed or corrected once this is discovered by the other team or other field umpire?

Play in question - Bases loaded, 2 outs. Batter hits ground ball to 3rd baseman who tags the runner coming from 2nd before she makes the bag. Run does not score, but umpire misinformed the coach of the team that the run counted. He admitted he made a mistake 2 innings later when it was discovered by his partner and opposing team. Can the score be corrected at this point?

Yes..they can. Of course, a coach has the right to appeal if they don't

Its not an ump or scoring problem....this is a coaching problem.
