    Hey POP, when will polls be updated. Had a few losses last week , will this shake things up.

    Is it possible to include records with the scores so those who are voting knows the win loss records of who they are voting for?

    Good question!

    It has been talked about among the polls committee. It sure would be nice if we could get that set up in some way. The polls committee takes what is voted on during the previous week by the coaches and works to produce an accurate poll. It is very difficult to get people to report their scores, however it has been a lot better this year. I don't know if we can get the standings page done this year, but it is something to definitely look into in the future, and I am sure it is going to be brought up at the next Executive Board meeting. Also, with over 300 high school teams, it is very difficult to get information on all teams. We will continue to tweak and fine tune the polls. Hopefully we can continue to make strides in the right direction.

    How many coaches vote weekly? Must they be a member?

    The number of Coaches voting varies from week to week. You must be a member of the NCSCA to vote.

    Butler only 6th???

    I just got one question for the pollsters? How can Butler (defending 4A state champion) be the only undefeated team and only get a ranking of #6 in the poll? Makes absolutely no sense to me. If not ranked #1, they should at least be in the top 3. Butler plays in a solid competitive conference, and they also have played a tough non-conference schedule. Go figure.

    I totally agree, no disrespect intended for any other teams, but back to back Raleigh trips, only undefeated team, HOW in the world can it be...........
    makes me wonder if they may be flying way under the radar!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Plus these coaches voting every week, you know they know who the best teams are...........WOW..............
