    Wanted to give some props to my little buddy (actually taller than me :bigcry:) Lexi Davis at Porter Ridge. She was one pitch from a no hitter tonight vs Hickory Ridge HS, and she also punched a HR.

    She is only a soph and IMHO can make a serious run at NC POY. Whats crazy is she is equally deadly with the bat as she is her arm.

    Hey Metro It actually was one walk away from a perfect game. She faced 16 batters with 11 K's 4 groundouts and 1 BB in a 5 INN 10-0 win.

    I will say this, 63mph, works the hitter, hit 10 jacks as a 9th grader....

    I will go on a limb and say she is the greatest prospect pitcher/hitter combo 2 way plyr since NC started fastpitch. Tell me who else can match her 2-way talent the last decade? Again, she is a 10th grader...

    And before you tell me to stop, I comprehend D1 sports as well as anyone on this board.

    She is that talented IMHO.

    Lady Lightning Gold Player

    I am very excited for Lexi, she is a complete player. Never misunderstood, always a professional and a player everyones kids should look up too. Great family also.
    We are excited that she is a part of our LLGTM program and look forward to seeing her continue to represent NC everywhere we travel.
