Was this an upset? Maybe, maybe not. That, of course, depends on one's perspective. Folks not close to either team would probably say "20 K's and lose? ...thats an upset"!

One thing is for sure. This time of year anything can happen and it has. In 1A, a #4 is facing a #5 in the fourth round. Together they combine for 17 losses! And one of them is about to play for their regional championship. How does that happen? In 2A, three teams capable of beating anybody in any classification, are all out in the 3rd round! ...and one of them is 2A's defending state champion with every player back this year!

    Congrats to PR.

    Its an interesting game!

That's the kind of game you would love to see if you weren't pulling for either team. Or the team you were pulling for won.

20 K's and lose has to be amongst the rare.

Sounds like those teams could play 20 times and end up with 10-10 records.

Look what this match up meant to the state of North Carolina Softball. Future Auburn player against a Georgia Bulldog. We are turning out players, but the ACC needs to get serious about the sport.
