Thanks, Mudcat, for closing the thread about last weeks results.

As an ACR fan (kinda obvious from previous posts) I would like to comment on your earlier post:

First, thanks for your vote of confidence and your "mountain" support. Second, Roberson has an outstanding baseball program and the rivalry between our teams has always been strong. While I can say we are happy to have won these two games, I feel like it's safe to say that we Rocket fans have enough respect for TCR and Coach Smith's program not to talk badly about it, him, or his players on a forum like this. In fact, quite a few Rockets have played baseball at one time or another with quite a few of the Rams and are friends on and off the field.

While Moseslyaks comments could very well be interpreted as comments made by an ACR fan, I would like to ask everyone to consider taking his comment about not being an ACR fan at its face value - and not assume otherwise. We ACR fans have been around the block with the "negative personal posts" on other forums and I feel (at least I sincerely hope) that we've learned to follow the "intent" of TBR and it's postings and not criticize other players, families, and programs.

I agree with WNCBB, let's just congratulate each other and move on to the next week's games.

Best of luck to both TCR and ACR this spring - it would be great to have 2 mountain teams go far this spring.

 

What about 3 mountain teams. You know that West Henderson will be there too.

It appears some recent comments posted on a another message board by several ACR fans carried over to TBR. That's unfortunate, because it only hurts the kids and certainly doesn't help either program, so let's keep it positive and play ball.

 

Hey we all have great teams this year. Let's win it all in 2a,3a and 4a. Bring it back to the mountains!
