Just curious. Wanted to know how many kids Post 100 had coming back? I enjoy watching and following their team and wanted to know what this season looked like. Haven't been to a game yet but will soon.

Bobby Dale Reynolds one of best coaches in the state, they will always be in contention in July.

    Cherryville 6
Shelby 2 I think that was the final. Jake Watts pitched a complete game for Post 100 and got some solid help from the defense

    Wed

    Cherryville 20
    Lincoln 9

Long game. Score was tied 8-8 in the 6th inning then Cherryville got 3 in 7th and 9 in 8th to settle the score. Cherryville used 4 pitchers and Lincoln used 6 if I did not loose count. Long game.

Seth Freeman is back from his freshman year at Davidson College.

I would guess that Corey Parks would also be back, as Cherryville is now out of the high school playoffs.

I hope to see a game this weekend. If someone else doesn't post, I will try to get you some of the other names.

Also, as far as any legion team goes in this area, the sports writer Richard Walker of the newspaper The Gaston Gazette goes to lots of games. (Cherryville, Shelby, Lincoln County, Gaston County) He makes a real effort to keep up with and write stories on legion ball.

Post 100 will get back on the field tonight at 7p.m. at Fraley Field. Been a long break for the gang due to some weather issues. With the rain outs it should be a very busy schedule coming up.

No, I didn't even realize they were starting up last night until I saw it in the Lincoln Times yesterday afternoon. You, or anybody else, wouldn't happen to know where I can get my hands on C'ville schedule would you?
