It IS a very good list of instructors. If you've ever had a chance to listen to Billy Best you can attest to the fact that he's a good instructor. He has a knack for helping kids understand terms related to baseball.

I would highly encourage you to come to this camp. For people who do not know Pat Smith he is an unbelievable pitching coach. If i'm not mistaken he was a part of 5 state championships. I wish that I could be there but I will be in Washington DC on those days. Very solid camp that Hank Jones has assembled.

You need to get your priorities straight! Attending to political matters over baseball will just not cut it.

My son can hardly wait for this camp. If Hank is involved it will be first class and full of good instruction. He cares deeply about youth sports and the kids in and around Rocky Mount. Hank has been a great influence on Benjamin as well as many other ball players in the area!

Come on out and support the camp!

Camp organizer and director, Hank Jones says this camp exceeded his expectations. The turnout was about 80 kids. Really good for a camp that was put into place kind of late, and wasn't helped at all by the weather. Coach Jones did a great job of having a contingency plan in place, and was aided by a staff who were not at all phased by the condition of having most of the instruction inside. Nash Central High School made available the main gym, the auxiliary gym, the wrestling room, the cafeteria, and two classrooms to facilitate the event. Many thanks to all the instructors, former Rocky Mount Senior High Coach Pat Smith, Area scouts Neil Avent(Oakland), Billy Best(Atlanta), ECU Head Coach Billy Godwin, NC State Head Coach Elliot Avent, former Louisburg assistant Tony Guzzo, and camp asisstants Collins Cuthrell(Barton), Ben Fish(Campbell), Jim Leggett(Pitt CC), Xavier Macklin(NC A&T) and Benton Moss(Rocky Mount High). Plans are already underway for next years camp with most of this year's instructors already committed.
