    Riverside vs. Wakefield

    Riverside 7 10 1
    Wakefield 5 8 1

    Wakefield bats around in the first inning, including a GS by Blankenship (who also pitched), but doesn't score again once the Riverside pitchers settled into the game. RHS starts chipping away with 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 5th. RHS then has a pair of 2 run HRs in the 6th to take the lead for good.

    We will host Apex on Tuesday at 7pm.

    SS wins 5-0. Wes Hatley (UNCC) gets win with 13k's. 1 hit, 2BB. Ryne Poplin (SR-unsigned) hit his 10th HR of the year. Colten Burris (jr) hit is 8th of the season.

    That is 24 HR on the season for South Stanly High School. Got to be a school record.

    East Lincoln Mustangs advance with a 5-4 win over Providence Grove.
    Drew Spear strikes out 14 and hit a solo homerun.
    Jarrett Ross drives in the winning run with 2 out in
    the bottom of the 7th.
    The Mustangs now face Mt. Pleasant @ home Tuesday night.
