    NCHSAA Realignment

Since its slow, I thought I'd ask everyone's opinion on the proposed realignment. The old SPC would lose Kannapolis, Mount Pleasant and Robinson... who would be replaced with Carson, S. Rowan and W. Rowan. MP would be put with Union County schools. Kannapolis and Robinson to Mecklenburg County schools.... IMO, I think it sucks big time!:puke: Adjusting boundaries makes more sense to me. Well here's the proposed conferences:

    Conference 9C:

    Central Academy of Arts
    Forest Hills
    Monroe
    Mount Pleasant
    Parkwood
    W. Stanly

    Conference 7C:

    Carson
    Central Cabarrus
    Concord
    Cox Mills

    E. Rowan
    Hickory Ridge
    NW Cabarrus

    S. Rowan
    W. Rowan

    Conference 5C:

    Kannapolis
    Hopewell
    Hough
    Mallard Creek
    N. Meck
    JM Robinson
    W. Charlotte
    Vance

    :urinate:

The way the NCHSAA realigns conferences every 3 years its impossible to develop rivalries and considering travel time and costs... its just dumb. :censored:

Would you like to explain yourself, or are you simply feeling froggy because your team won a ballgame?

JD, i'm calling a rope a dope hear by the staff at JM. More than likely they will not play tomorrow based on the excuses they gave the JV team at A.L. Brown who was going to demolish them again.....field to wet. I look for the game to be rescheduled at a time when they can get Brody up against our 2 or 3 guy again. The ball is in their hands. Pretty gutless and humiliating for the coach at JM to sink to these tactics. I've seen this movie before. He's sending the Perry kid the wrong message that he isn't good enough to match up with Wes. :stirthepot:

Yikes... I seen this a coming! :FightenSmilie:
I come on here to see scores and to read insight on games played on the field by every team in the SPC. These are high school kids that we're discussing here with a lot of parents posting... just use tact.:quiet:

Was going to go over and watch that game

another note - Cox Mill is starting to become a very dangerous team - the Seniors are stepping up and pitching is deep. Beat K-town last night - yes they kicked the ball around a little, but we also hit the ball again, which was a huge problem early in the year. 7-7 in the top of the 7th with 2 outs...bases loaded and Luke Pepper laces a bullet to right center to plate the 2 winning runs on a 2-2-2 count. Watkins came in and i'm not sure they even saw the ball as he blazed 3 K town batters to end the game. Still a spark in these Chargers.

My guess is there wasn't too many unearned on the K-Town side. Cox Mill is pretty solid defensively. Especially behind the plate (Watkins & Monaghan) and in the infield ( Pepper, Keyes, Monaghan, Kern ). In addition one of their best infieders, Austin Fox, has missed the season with a torn labrum and Martin Galusha is fighting rotator cuff issues which only lets him hit. This team makes the plays.
