    Bull dawgs beat N.Stanley

    JM Robinson Pitcher P. Perry was in control thru 5 innings mixing his FB and curve in a workman like performance striking out 7, but the sixth inning was his undoing as he ran out of gas and the N. Stanley team found their swings. N. Vitallo and A. Hernadez came on in relief in the 6th and 7th innings but could not quiet the Comets bats. With the score 10-9 in the bottom of the 7th and the tying run on 2nd and winning run at the plate B. Koerner came in and got 3 outs for the save. The Jay M. Robinson offense was lead by the 1-6 hitters J. Macek had 2 hits and 2 runs scored, P. Perry had 2 hits and scored a run, #3 and #4 hitters H. Kocher and B.Koerner each had a hit , stolen base and 2 runs scored with A. Bundy going 3 for 3 with 3 rbi's and 2 run's scored and L. cochran with a hit and the run scored. Jay M Robinson's next game is Friday 3/2 at Carson

    Carson 2 / Jay M Robinson 1

    Carson and Jay M Robinson played a tight game thru their 7 inning battle, with Carson coming out on top 2-1. B. Koerner pitched well into the 5th inning before Jay M Robinson suffered thru several fielding errors and a few pass balls that allowed the 2 Carson runs to score. Each team allowed only 1 hit. H. Kocher had the only hit a double for Jay M Robinson who stranded 10 runners on base.

    Koerner is the best pitcher in the SPC... IMO. However he seems to overthrow when he has a runner on first? Anyway my son said it best about Koerner, "Dad his pitches look so fat", so I asked why didn't you guys hit it and he replied "the closer they get, the uglier they get".... :laugh2:
