    Central Cabarrus defeats Hickory Ridge 7-5. Too many middle infield errors for the Bulls.

    Jay M. Robinson wins 10-4 over Kannapolis

    Jay M Robinson beat Kannapolis 10-4 behind B. Koerner's strong pitching and H. Kocher's hot bat. B. Koerner kept the Wonders bats quiet thru 5 2/3 innings with another strong pitching performance striking out 14 hitters before giving way to R. Lefler who closed out the game in the 7th inning. The Robinson bats came alive banging out 12 hits with H. Kocher leading the way with a 4 for 4 night, 1 rbi and a homerun shy of hitting for the cycle. B. Koerner and A. Bundy added 2 hits with J. Glunt, R. Lefler, J.T Austin and J. Milander each contributing a hit.

    Smith actually threw a 1 hitter with 16 strikeouts yesterday

    Cox Mill 3 Mount Pleasant 2

    In this game, Cox Mill was down 2-1 with 2 out and and nobody on in the bottome of the 7th. Two, full count walks, an error to load the bases and Travis Watkins 2 run single to left sealed the deal. A much needed win to move to 1 -1 in conference.

    It was a big win. DJ Smith pitched the first 3 2/3 and Travis came in to pitch no hit ball the rest of the way. Once the bats gets going, they'll be fine, but right now it's going to be all about pitching and defense.

    Jay M. Robinson wins 8-0 over Concord

    P. Perry escaped a Concord jam in the first inning well allowing only 2 hits and strikingout 12 in a complete game performance. P. Perry and R. Burris of Concord had a pitcher's duel going thru 4 innings when Robinson's H. Kocher lead off the bottom of the 4th with a single to get things rolling for the bulldawgs a single by B. Koerner and a throwing error on an A. Bundy bunt allowed J.M. Robinson to score their first 2 runs. Robinson added 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th on P. Perry rbi double, H. Kocher's rbi single and a bases loaded walk. Jay M. Robinson scored 3 more runs in the 6th on a bases clearing double by A. Bundy who was thrown out at 3rd trying to stretch the hit into a triple. J. Macek 1-3, P. Perry 2-4, H. Kocher 2-3, B. Koerner 1-4, A. Bundy 2-4, J. Glunt 1-3, J.T. Austin 1-3

    Jordan Goodman and Landon Hubbard homered

    Wes Smith 2 hits

    Justin Dixon and Parker Wethrington pitched well.

    Good defense by the Trojans.

    Total team effort on this one.
