Prayers for Ryan Hinson and family

    Please keep Ryan Hinson (senior at Northwestern High in Rock Hill and Clemson signee) and his mother, Sheryl, in your thoughts and prayers. Ryan's Dad, Larry, died suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday.

    Larry was a wonderful father who taught Ryan the game of baseball and supported Ryan as he developed to be one of the top left handed pitchers in the 2005 class. Larry made many friends throughout the southeast as he followed Ryan as he played AAU, High School, Legion and Showcase baseball for the past 8 years. Larry was especially proud of Ryan when he signed with Clemson two weeks ago. Larry had even started to his new Clemson baseball jacket despite his lifelong love for the Gamecocks. Larry was a wonderful friend who will be missed.

    Wow...that is so sad. I'll send out my prayers to the Hinson family and all those touched by Larry. May God bless them all.
