    Prayers for Taylor and family

    Our thoughts and many prayers go out to Taylor and her family. I have placed Taylor and her family on our prayer list for chapel 2/26/09.

    The Coaching staff , Players and Students of Gaston Christian School.

    another update, Thurs. 2-26-09

    Ok, Taylor was admitted to Baptist hospital in Winston yesterday. She will be undergoing tests, counciling/information sessions today. They will conduct surgery tomorrow on her brain. I was told it would last roughly 10 hours or so and when finished she will be wearing a halo type brace. As you can imagine, softball is not very important to our girls at the school at this time. The girls are praying for rain Friday so that they will not scrimmage S. Iredell, but get to visit Taylor in the hospital.

    + May the Lord Bless the Berry family and watch over Ms. Taylor Berry in her time of need+

    Thanks for keeping us updated. Taylor and family are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. I can't imagine what they're going through right now. Still praying for that miracle that does happen!

    Another update Fri 2-27-09

    Surgery underway at Baptist. Looks like we are in it for the long haul, a 10 hour surgery on the brain never makes you feel good. Dad is holding up as good as you can ask for, but is definetly worried sick. I will post as soon as I know more, but will be out of town all weekend.

    Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes from everyone!

    pepper, I have been trying all day to get some info on Taylor. They connected me to the nurse's station on the floor she is on. I tried several times, but never did get an answer. Hopefully someone with info will let everyone on TBR know.
