    Thank you

Thanks to all that responded and those that still intend to do so. Jamey is an honor roll student and a great young man who has worked hard to become a major part of our pitching staff. I'm sure his family & friends will appreciate your support. For those that are interested, I will continue to provide updates on his condition on our baseball website: www.ccvikingsbaseball.com. (P.S. - Jamey is #22 in the photo on the front page) thanks again - Coach Knight

    Jamie Lee

I grew up with this young man's Dad, Jr.
I know he is a fine young man and works his tail off to
get where he is today. Please know that the Ledbetter's
in Mount Pleasant will be praying for him and the rest of the family. Knowing this family, he will use this as a springboard to come back even stronger in the future!
He is truly a ball player's player!

I'll announce at the home game on Friday night, so all in
our community can join in the prayer chain!

As the father of a pitcher, I know we often worry and fret over balls and strikes, era's and hits allowed. The truth is we should all give a little prayer every time they come off the mound healthy.

My prayers are with this young man and his family

    Baseball prayers

Baseball prayers go to this young man, his family, the teams and coaches. That's the worst feeling - to have an injured son on the field.

Our thoughts and prayers will continue. Please keep us posted on his condition.

i always hate to hear this kinda stuff coach. our thoughts will go out to the young man and his family. my son played baseball all the way up until he aged out of American Legion and football until he graduated high school....all the while being a Hemophiliac. we live with these fears for our children every day and thank God when they make it through safely. it just doesnt seem fair when one of them falls prey to unfortunate circumstances. it makes winning and losing pale in comparison. keep us posted.

Prayers from Person go out to this young man...

God speed on a full recovery. I saw a college player receive an orbital fracture after taking one in a batting cage... I pray all is well and God's healing hand on him!

Jamey played for us and the Matthews Reds for years. He is not only a talented pitcher, he is also one of the most likable young men you would ever want to meet. Our prayers go out to Jamey and his family!
