Prayers needed

    Not softball related, but our church family is really struggling and these families need all the prayers we can muster....

    A young father of 2 was involved in a serious construction equipment accident yesterday and is in critical condition this morning at CMC. A safety harness malfunctioned and he was run over by a piece of equipment. He is a great friend from a great family....His name is Rodney...

    And an elder's wife was diagnosed only a few short months ago with cancer and now they have to decide what time is right to let her go...she never had a chance to fight. Her name is Karen......

    Please take a second and let God know that you are thinking of these people and their families and only HE can change lives and circumstances.....

    update

    Thanks...Just saw Rodney for a few minutes this morning, he is doing very well, all things considered. He is blessed to be here today. He has a crushed pelvis and some internal bleeding, but that has stopped and he is even joking around with the nurses....

    one nurse came in and said "hi rodney, i am robin and i will be your nurse"....he answered without missing a beat...."hi robin, I'm Rodney and I'll be your patient" God allows us humor even when things don't seem the best, huh.

    he has a long way to go but 3 kids, 7, 4, and 3 months to keep him working toward the goal.

    Thanks for the concern...our Softball family is great....
