Prayers Needed

    We have a young lady in our community who is going through a very difficult time at the moment.Her name is Meghan Bunn and she is 10 years old.She is a wonderful girl with an unbelievable personality towards life-not to mention she is a very good athlete.Her passion is softball and wolfpack athletics.She had surgery for a brain tumor on Wednesday and is at UNC hospital as we speak recovering.She is progressing well,but has a long way to go.I taught this young lady and I know her to be a fighter,competitor,and a genuine lady,but she is in the fight of her life.She is what you would want your daughter to be like and you have to ask,"why is this happening".I am posting because as a High school coach of 18 years,I have come across many young people and she is one of the best.My heart goes out to her and her family.Please keep her and her family in your prayers and help support them in the coming days.The baseball community has always been there and this is a time for a BIG TIME effort to support a family and this special little girl.

    My heart and prayers go out to Meghan and her family. Based on what I have read, she has heart, determination and a fighter mentality. I will keep Mehgan in my thoughts and please keep us informed on her progress.
