Prediction Central: 1st Round

now now Braves - E. Randolph is pretty good - this one could be an upset.

I'm heading out now to the Ragsdale / Kannapolis game. Hope to run into a few TBR guys there.

last i heard, S. Caldwell was up on East Meck 3-2 in the 4th...
I think South Caldwell will eake this one out

 

Ok, I know absolutely nothing about baseball in the east -- I am very quiet now

 

Nuf .... I started the thread, but I wouldn't make any predictions. The first round is SO STRANGE, it's next to impossible to predict.

Keep it up .... things are just getting interesting.

In the 4A East, the teams remaining are so strong that nothing can be considered an upset anymore. I favor JH Rose coming out of the East.

In the 4A West, the two favorite teams (North Forsyth and Myers Park) had loads of trouble scoring runs .... it's going to be interesting. Hillsborough-Orange vs North Forsyth should be a war on friday. South Caldwell vs Central Cabarrus should be a lot of fun to watch.

In the 3A East, CB Aycock and Smithfield-Selma may be the class of the remaining teams.

In the 3A West, Lots of quality teams remaining with some very difficult matchups the next round. The 8 teams remaining are all quality teams and no result can really be considered an upset.

In the 2A East, I'm going with West Bladen and South Granville to meet ...

In the 2A West, it should come down to Mt. Pleasant versus West Henderson.

I am out of my league when it comes to the 1A teams .... Not many in our region and we don't get many reports from the mountains...... Out west, I'm going with South Stokes to return to the championship game. In the East, I think Ayden-Grifton will play North Brunswick to see who gets to go in the final game.
