    I had a sneaky feeling that other TBR folks were as lost as I am. Thanks for taking the pressure off.
    I predict you'll; 1. Agree that I'm lost. 2. Post another FUBAR. Ashton Ward is known statewide. No doubt one of, or the best pitcher in NC history. I can pick at you HR, but no one can pick at this ballplayer. Good job Ashton! And good post HR.

    upset prediction

    Who better to pull the upset than a hot hitting team that has seen Leonard more than any of the teams left. This game will be the main test for CD. They beat East, and nobody else will have a chance only seeing her once.:sultan:

    possible upset

    I still stand by my original post of east over c davidson. I had sound logic to go with my prediction. Central did win however, so I offer my congrats to them on their probable state title. East was the only team with a chance to stop them....That said...I would like to take this time to say that East must have one helluva defense to hold central scoreless ,,for10 and 1/2 innings ,without the pitcher recording a single strikeout.I will be at Walnut Creek next weekend... hope to see the "AUNTIES' there also.....:25:

    Good D?

    No ED had GREAT D against CD. Wow that short stop really played well. The whole game was "punch, counter punch". I sat in left field and can only imagine the emotional rollercoaster the parents/fans were going through. One play that comes to mind was when CD had bases loaded with 0 outs. The next girl comes up and hits a flare towards left field and some how the SS runs it down and catches it then throws out the runner at third.The next batter grounds out to end the threat. Great Heart shown by both ball teams.
