The 2007 NCFSCA Preseason Polls are up on the www.ncfastpitch.org website. There is also a scoreboard on the site for all to see. Coaches, if you would like to see your scores posted on the Scoreboard, please send your scores to [email protected]. We will try to get them up each morning if the scores are sent to the email address by 11:00 p.m. Coaches are also asked to send their weekly information to the polls committee by each Sunday at 6:00 p.m. As of today, new polls will come out each Tuesday. Coaches should include record, wins and losses for the week, opponents, victories against ranked opponents, and any other information that might be helpful to the poll committees. Please send this information to email address that applies to your classification:

Just a reminder to all Coaches that the deadline for State Games registration is March 16th. Be sure to tell your players, give them the hard copy registration that was sent to the schools, or tell them to use the on-line registration at www.ncsports.org. Looking forward to working with everyone as the High School season gets in to full swing!

Congrats the Mount Airy girls, parents and coaches on their #9 ranking in the state 1A. A nice recognition for a lot of hard work.

Congrats to all the other teams who were listed. Best wishes to all for a sucessfull season.

    ashbrook???

did anyone who voted ashbrook in the top ten realize that they lost their starting pitcher for the season and they have no experienced pitching to replace her???? been common knowledge for last two months.

not exactly common knowledge unless you think everyone reads TBR Softball.

heard Allie Short was progressing well and therapy also moving ahead of schedule.

Kind of surprising that Hopewell is not listed as a top team in the 4A Ranking. You would think that a team that only lost 4 games last season, and returns their entire varsity roster, would get a little consideration.

    Hopewell

They will be super tough! I think Butler, Hopewell, and Central will be teams to watch along with North Davidson in 4A. Kings Mtn, Central Davidson, and a new local school might creep into the middle of things in other levels, Porter Ridge? Maybe a little soon for them but some good young talent. Watch the 2009 class around the area, they are pretty good! There are also some 2008 that will catch the colleges eyes because of their size and strength.

Don't forget about S.W. Randolph...this may be their year...after this year they're losing alot of their meat in the line up, except the Manus girl...great pitcher..good movement on the ball..just a sophmore to boot !!!!
