    I think in the 2A ranks, that I'd put Roanoke Rapids in there. Both their top pitchers back, plus I hear they are returning a senior who did not play last year. They will definitely be tough.

    That was a statement made by your coach. If I was wrong, then he was wrong....and he doesn't make it a habit to tell me something that's wrong.

    I am looking forward to the South Granville (#4 3A) @ Knightdale (UR 4A) scrimmage on Saturday. I think Knightdale will be one of the "sleeper" 4A teams this year.

    South Granville scrimmage with Knightdale time changed to 12:00 on Sat. 2/16 due to chance of late afternoon showers.

    Great competition

    The station WHIG-TV might be willing to tape these games for internet broadcast at a later date and for parents wanting to buy a tape. It would cost each team 75 dollars per game. If anyone wants this service please let me know and also both teams would have to agree. Thanks.

    Excuse me Coach BUT I see that the Master has picked y'all to be crowned state champs this year. How are you going to talk yourself out of this one?

    Forget Obama, Hillary and the Old Guy...I am jumping on the South Granville campaign and voting for you guys so we can share some champagne together.

    I am totally shocked and dismayed!!!!!

    It just goes to show you that anything is possible. I hope Southern is happy now. He thinks the monkey is off his back now. But RM is still the #1 ranked team. I wonder how many bucks he had to shell out to get us picked?

    We settle into a comfortable spot outside the top 10 by the end of the season. Then we will play the role of the sleeper.
