Preston Loyd Night

Mooresville would like to thank everyone who came out to support their local high school as well as Preston Loyd. The JV game was truly a great one with a 6-5 final in the bottom of the 7th with a 2 out double to left center with the bases loaded from Josh Skidmore (his ASTOUNDING 3RD game winning hit of the year!). The Varsity game was also a good one with a 3-0 LKN finish.

A special thanks to Mr. Moose Nanny for making Preston Loyd T-Shirts out of his pocket!

This night may be over but please do not forget about Preston, please keep him, still in your thoughts and prayers!

Preston Loyd night was a great night indeed. Besides seeing 2 great games between arch rivals Lake Norman and Mooresville, the fans pulled together to donate over $1100.00 at last count. Thanks fans!! It was a little odd to see Mooresville wearing green trim(Preston's favorite color) with their blue and white uniforms.

I also applaud Moose Nanney of Lakepoint Screenprinting and Buyteamuniforms.com for his donation of labor and materials for the commemerative t-shirts. Moose is one of the biggest (literally and figuratively) Mooresville baseball supporters, and has a heart to match.

WAY TO GO PRESTON

4 year old preston is scheduled to come home today. According to the Mooresville Tribune he has had his stomach, spleen, and left kidney removed as well as several other surgeries. His prognosis was not good i April, but he is a fighter and is finally going home. There is a Ride for Preston this Saturday from Tilley Harley Davidson to Rocky Hill Baptist Church. A BBQ at the church is open to all, not just riders. Call 704-872-3883 for more info.
