Preston Tiller to Appalachian State !

    PRESTON TILLER 2012 (Ardrey Kell / South Charlotte Panthers) has committed to attend school and play baseball for Coach Pollard and Appalachian State University. Preston will join the Mountaineers following his high school career at Ardrey Kell.

    Congratulations to Preston and his parents Vance and Vicki.

    Congrats Preston,
    APP. is getting one heck of a Ball Player. This kid can flat out hit and play the outfield. App. is a great School with great Coaches in a great Setting, who could ask anything more.
    Can't wait until Summer Ball starts.
    Mom and Dad must be proud...............

    I think he's a great 2nd baseman, too. The pipeline from Charlotte to App State keeps getting richer...congrats Preston, well deserved!

    Congratulations to Vance and Vicki, too. Just as one ride is ending, the next one is just beginning. I'm looking forward to following Preston's success at the next level.

    Preston has worked very hard on his game. He is a talented player. I had the pleasure of coaching him. I think I was his first coach when he moved here from Texas. He was our best player that year. I am very happy for him but not at all surprised.

    Way to go PT! App State is getting a fine young man and a great family. And to think that it took all these miles and all these years for you and Cam to play ball together even after you where both born and lived in the same city in Texas!
    Can't wait until the summer! Congratulations again and enjoy the fly fishing up there in Boone.
