Props to Harnett Central for their class

    So often we hear about all the awful ways other teams behave in this great sport.

    I want to take a moment to praise instead.

    Last night, when Western Harnett pitcher Kerstine Womack was taken out by a line drive (that stopped at the outfield fence), Harnett Central players and coaching staff showed absolute class in action. The batter that hit the stinger of a hit, stopped at first, although she could have easily advanced to 3B. Concern came from not only our players, coaching staff and fans, but was exhibited by the girls from HC, the coaching staff and their fans.

    Brings tears to my eyes when I think of how much respect was given this young player last night.

    Applause to Central - Players, coaches and fans!

    She's fine

    Got her bell rung but good, but once it stopped ringing she stepped right back into the game and pitched us through the rest. Asked her tonight how she is feeling and is feeling great just had a whopper of a headache tonight.

    Tough kid. Back on the mound tonight to pitch us to the win :)
