    Quality One

The ability to recognize and evaluate talent is the root quality for any good coach. If he depends on a parent's evaluation of a player he his doomed. Every parent loves their child. This root quality has made a lot of good coaches and some great ones.
Every talented player wants to play for this coach.

Coaches hopefully coach for the Kids... if not they are in the wrong profession.. Your can find alot of thankless jobs that are a lot less visable... Coaches are targets when things dont work well and never get enough credit when thay do.
Great HS coaches are seen at the LL games and many other places interacting with the next group to come to the school...
Programs are built on involvement and concern for the players... and in return the players play hard for him or her.
The more successful coaches in our area are out there at the games showing support at all levels.. Best coaches know how to tap into the area of a player that gets them to do the things they are capable of but are afraid try.. That only comes with trust... Coaches have to build trust first and the rest will come.
