    WOW! Is everybody going?

    I've heard so much about how the QDSS is very selective with who is invited, but it appears to me that almost every travel ball player in the entire greater Charlotte Metro area is going to be there. Entire teams being selected? At $225 or whatever per kid, the amount of money being invested in this event dwarfs even the largest of showcase events in the Southeast.

    This has to be a huge money maker for somebody. :REGamblMoney01HL2:

    After the event is concluded, I would like to hear from some of you that will be in attendance, how many college coaches were there, and which schools were represented? Maybe I'll see if my DD can get selected for next year's event.

    There is a 14u QDT tournament at Hargette also. A lot of good teams from around the country & NC.

    From what I have seen there is a WIDE margin of level of talent. I know some that went that couldn't even start on their high school team. I believe you are correct that this is a "huge money maker for somebody" but then again that is what most of these things are all about.

    NC SUn Devils-Jen Rosene

    The NC Sun Devils had several players compete this weekend as well

    Jen Rosene was named tournament MVP by the QDSS staff. SHe was game mvp 3 of 4 games. COngrats Jen!!!

    Congrats Jen!! You go girl *\O/* All that hard work has paid huge dividends. Make sure you thank your dad for all those hours he has spent on that bucket!

    I think it's about time folks start to notice Ms. Rosene.
