Could any head coaches (or anyone else with sure knowledgefor that matter) give the following information about your team/conference:

Do you play jv/varsity at seperate sites or doubleheaders at one site?

Do you play each team in conference twice in the same week or just play your schedule rotating through each team once before coming back around (traditional)?

    Please give team and conference.
Make any additional comments with pros and cons as well.

I know Charlotte Catholic from the Mega 7 usually plays each conference opponent twice, rotating through like you said. Conference games are usually 430 starts for JV and 7:00 start for Varsity. Non-conference games vary.

West Brunswick Waccamaw 3A/2A split. We do traditional rotate through and we do JV at one site at 4:30pm and Varsity at the other site at 6pm.

Varsity coach doesn't see the JV play at all, but the student athletes get home earlier with the earlier start times. I'm not 100% sure what we will do next year when we move to a 4A/3A split with the Wilmington schools and Topsail and South Brunswick

In the CPC we are going to play in conference games against the same team in a week. Our teams will split with JV at one site at 5 and Varsity at the other school at 7. We did the split sites last year and while I liked it on Tuesdays, I would have liked to see the Friday games played at one site so I could see both teams.

Last season league play was 3 games in the same week. While I am not a coach, my personal opinion was that it created a situation where the better "team" normally won the series. With three games in the same week, you got to see who had team pitching- Starters and relief pitching. In this format, one player cannot dominate the series.

JV played at 4:30 with the V starting at 7:00 (I think) The JV game was on a hard time/ inning limit to prevent the V game from starting late.
