Does anyone know the rules about playing for a different team in a different league before the world series. For example: can a girl that plays on a tb team in NSA only, play for a different team in ASA without a release from her original TB team?

    Thanks

YES. problems arise only when you try to play for two different teams i the same organization (NSA, ASA). however, if i remember right, after the world series is over and fall ball begins, you can play on any team that you want in NSA, at least, it used to be that way couple of years ago.

    yes

If it does not cause problems with scheduling, fatigue, and team head coaches, you can actually be on an NSA, WFC, USSSA, ASA, and AAU rosters for different teams. My DD has played in the early spring with the Mixed Forces out of Asheville in WFC and ASA tournaments. We did this on weekends her NSA team was not playing or practicing. It really happens more than some realize, especially with coaches daughters. However, this fall you can be on more than one roster at the same time, but not at the same tournament. If a team goes over their 20 player limit, then new insurance is needed.
