Question about Weekly Poll - Not a Dig

Polls are just opinions . . .

some informed and some not and you know what they say about opinions. I applaud the effort to have a poll but don't think it's worth anyone feeling slighted over.

Heck, I watched a local HS team play last month that didn't appear to have a single OF who could catch a fly ball. Came home to find out they were ranked 8th in the state!

The great thing about softball is that we'll know in June who the best teams are.

who do the coaches report the scores too? I believe some coaches are left out of the loop.

 

Why would a 3A team losing to a 4A team have anything to do with rankings in 3A? Just asking. I could possibly see that if all the top 3A teams played the same 4A team you could get a feeling from that but in general, the are different levels.

Score reporting

Scores may be reported to www.ncfastpitch.org daily. There is an area on the website that reads "Submit scores". Takes about a minute to report your score. It does not have to be the coach who submits the score. It could be the scorekeeper or designee of the coach. Scores will show up on the scoreboard the next day throughout the season.

 

#4 Ardrey Kell with 4 defeats (just lost to Nations Foard 4/21)
#6 Butler with 2 defeats (just lost to N.M. 4/21)
#10 North Meck with 3 defeats
SO! does Ardrey Kell and Butler move up in the rankings with that many losses between them. Ardrey Kell last week with 3 losses moved up a spot. This week I guest they move up 1 more. Hard to understand? Must be the name recognition

All those listed here are good teams. The final pole will be in about a month when the final 4 get to Raleigh....... Hope the one listed can make it.
