I am not an EE, but the new lighting systems are really bright and effective . The picture below of the 220' boys complex show that low poles and not alot of fixtures provide GREAT lighting on these modern systems, I have no idea of pricing ?? But they seem to be a good investment for years to come , I think the power consumption should be lower too !

These are new lights develope by Musco, while at Morganton last weekend I checked them out.
What is of special interest, notice in the last photp, that was taken without a flash, the players are as clear and bright as if in the noonday sun. This is the first field that I have seen these lights on.
