questions on your schedules for 2010

    looking at our schedule for 2010, we have 4 less games than 2009. it seems that everyone in our conference has had the same reduction in games (big south 3A).

    is this the same for everyone, or are we just screwed as usual???

    this means two less home games and loss of booster club revenue of approximately $3000.00 profit for those two games (concession stand).

    just curious as to the rest of the conferences

    from what i can tell, most teams in the big south 3A are playing an 11 game schedule (6 conference games), with the exception of Crest (10).

    did i miss something?

    schedule given to booster club has 10 games on it, we played 14 last year....one of them being a day of scrimmages based at huss(for last seven years, now being played at ashbrook). in the past few years, its been a six/seven rotation on home games and i know of two other schools in our conference who have had to cancel non conference games due to limited travel restrictions. my question is more or less, are these restrictions being applied in other conferences??

    the FCA scrimage is set to rotate around the county. this year it is at cherryville and ashbrook (last year at ng and huss)
    Friday, Aug. 13
    At Cherryville
    6 p.m. — North Gaston vs. West Lincoln
    7 p.m. — East Gaston vs. East Mecklenburg
    8 p.m. — Bessemer City vs. West Mecklenburg
    9 p.m. — Cherryville vs. West Caldwell
    Saturday, Aug. 14
    At Ashbrook
    6 p.m. — Hunter Huss vs. Mallard Creek
    7 p.m. — Kings Mountain vs. Rocky River
    8 p.m. — Forestview vs. West Charlotte
    9 p.m. — Ashbrook vs. Burns

    anyone coming?

    and 14?? 2 scrimages? endowment and 11 reg season?

    12 games last year, counted some state playoff games.

    this year, only 10 games....six conference and word is possibly two non conference games in doubt....
