It doesn't take much time around fastpitch in the Carolinas for you to learn about Ray's impact on fastpitch! Prayers sent.

Sad day...

Such a sad day for the Chandlers, the Cardinals and for the NC softball community. While Morgan has not played travel ball in NC for the past few years, she would not have had the opportunities she had earlier in her softball days without the foundation laid by Ray Chandler. He is not only a pioneer in NC, but all along the East Coast and Southeast Region.

Our heartfelt condolences to his family and the Cardinal Organization..

the highest honor i know to give to anyone is this...

Me, my wife, and most importantly my kids are better people for having known Ray Chandler.....

Our condolences to his wife, his children, the entire Cardinal organization,the entire Reagan HS team, and ALL of NC softball

As Coach Fran said "Heaven must have need a softball coach"

I never knew Ray but my DD and I always enjoyed getting a swing in against the caliber of competition he always brought to the field. God Bless Ray and Family.

Thoughts and prayers are with Ray's family. Ray will be greatly missed.

 

Words cannot express ....

Thoughts and prayers are with Sharyn and children. It is difficult to adequately express what Ray has done for fastpitch and for all of us.
He was never too busy to help or answer any questions. Someone posted a note that Ray had told them "never let softball choose the college your daughter would attend'. That was something he told me once and we
are glad we heeded that advice. The world has lost a wonderful person but Heaven has gained one.
