i would love to see a rematch anywhere with a real umpire team.
SWR is for real. I'm certain they don't want the umpiring to over shadow their accomplishments.

 

Just thinking out loud. But does this win make SWR the 5th Ranked team in the country.

NC UMPS

Game was played at NCSU neutral field. The 2 umps in question HAD to be certified by the NC assoc. They signed to books and can be located. But I have not seen any of the AC school officials on here talking about the umps. Which they won't, only parents and fans. I just thought this: where is Hollywood to ump when you need him? Ask Guru about that HR........ Bad calls happen all the time.

 

Hey Dawgswood. I don't know what you're thinking, but this is a board, where people post their opinions. I don't see how you can say it's childish. As far as you saying that you can't see how someone could say that they're not the better team, just because they gave up 9 runs, doesn't make any sense to the statement I previously made. I said SWR was the better team on Friday night. Not overall. AC's resume speaks for itself. One night doesn't mean a team is better than the other team. A fan with any knowledge of the game knows that.

 

poor sportsmanship AT NCSU FRIDAY NIGHT

I had previously posted a comment and I'm not sure why I can't find it now, but what I would like to say is this........I was at the game on Friday night and SWR did play a heck of a game~~~I would also once again, like to say that AC is an excellent team. BUT THE TERRIBLE SPORTSMANSHIP THAT WAS SHOWN BY SOME OF THE COACHING STAFF WAS ABSOLUTELY APPALLING....The lack of respect that was displayed to the umpires was a terrible example to be setting in front of ANYONE, LET ALONE THE PLAYERS!!!!! Come on people, it's a game, for crying out loud!!!! TRUE CHARACTER SHINES THROUGH BEST WHEN LOSING!!!! ANYONE CAN BE ALL SMILES WHEN THEY ARE WINNING.....

If getting mad over a call that was obviously blown bothers you, then you're in the wrong place. This isn't rec ball people, you play to win. It's varsity softball. It's a pretty big deal in our area, must not be where ya'll are from.
