Bob I use to let this game upset me and keep me up all night years before,now I have acid reflux over a game !! Think about it,does it really make sense ?? Now I coach a 12U team that is winning some ballgames, but is young and still learning the game. But I'm having more fun now then ever, and I'm not going to have a heart attack over it !!-- Guru Has Spoken...

My hat is off to the club from SW Randolph. The batted back from 4-0 to lay it to our ball club. It was a great wake-up call for our group and I hope it will serve as a motivating factor in our play from this point on. It is my responsibility to help my club to play better in the future pressure packed games. You have to play under adverse conditions and excel in that enviroment. The catcher for SW may be one of the best HS hitters I have ever faced. SW comes to play and has hitters throughout their line-up that will create problems for any club they face. Good Luck to SWR in the playoffs and to Coach Taylor. I hope you bring home another State Championship.

every parent at 12 and 14 wonders if their kid is 1) good enough, 2) will be good enough at 18, 3) can I afford all this travel? 4) is she in the best situation TB wise? 5) how do I get her where she needs to be seen at 16 & 18? 6) do i need to be playing up? 7) what if the HS coach doesnt like her play? 8) what if the HS coach plays upperclassman first regardless of skill level? 9) how does all this recruiting work once we get there? 10) will she stick with it?

Its a long road filled with lots of potholes. Everyone has had these same worries. At some point you know deep down your kid is good enough, in all respects, and it brings a certain peace.

 

Way off base on this comment. Our coaches have class.

Our coaching staff and fans were frustrated by the lack of solid officiating. We never used this as the only reason for the loss. You do not know them And lack the insight to call them out.

We still give credit to an excellent SWR team.

Class?

There is a long list of HS coaches and staffs that I would rank way ahead of the AC contingent in terms of "Class" and "Sportsmanship". I would frankly rate AC at or near the bottom of the list.

Used to be that Central Cabarrus was at or near the bottom of sportsmanship and class, but now things have changed dramatically. I wonder why?

 

You know I wonder why you would make that comment. Is it because that the AC coach beat you by 10, 15 or even 20 runs at some point? Just to let you knwo that beating a team like that is no bad sportsmanship.
