    Looks like Surry came ready to play tonight. I am sure Louisburg will rebound from this game. John Graham is one heck of a ball player. He will end up going somewhere big before it is all over with. Good luck to everybody tomorrow.

    LOL, I understand Braves. With all those Little Braves running around all the time, I am sure it gets pretty crazy. I am not sur if Ostrander has pitched yet. So if Surry wins today then they win it all?

    It's not my 'lil braves that drive me crazy...it's every time I come home there are a ton of them running around wanting me to adopt them. At least I guess they do, since they eat all my food...sit in my chair..drink my sodas...switch my channels...and when they are full and sleepy...lay on my sofa.

    I swear, if one of them calls me papa, I'm taking them as a deduction.

    Anyway, yes, if Surrey wins tonight..that's it

    Louisburg beat Spartanburg Methodist 6-3 today. They will play Surry tonight at 7:00.

    Congratulations to Surry and good luck in the district finals!
    Congratulations also goes out to Head Coach Mark Tucker on his first Region X championship.
    Lastly, congratulations to the Lenoir Lancers on winning the Division II championship. Good luck to you as well in the Districts!

    Let's see two NC teams in the World Series this year how about it?!!

    Just a quick question. Why all of a sudden does this thread need to be moved to "the next level" when it has been here for well over 3 days now. Is it because Surry WHIPPED the "great" Louisburg or because it just needs to be in that section to begin with? I think it is a great coincidence that since Surry wins the tournament it needs to be moved where people obviously don't read as much. Also, why didn't Jere's thread get the same quote about the DII tournament? Just my take on it.

    Congrats to Surry on a well-played tournament. I heard Coach Godwin was thrown out of the game. One of the Louisburg batters did a check swing on a two-strike count and the umpire said he went. It was obvious he didn't and Coach Godwin let the umpire know how he felt about the call. Very good win by Surry and best of luck to them. I didn't mean for this topic to upset anybody. It is that the high school baseball forum has so many people that I figured I have more of a chance on getting a response from here than any other board. If people want this topic to be moved to the other board, then it is fine with me. But thanks to all the people keeping us informed about the tournament.
