    Concord with another miracle - Asheville with another choke job. Asheville up 20-0 with 5 minutes to play. Concord scores three times - the last with 13 seconds to play. Missed PATs are a bad thing

    now thats all the games except for the two played at ECU tomorrow.

    The Britt Buccaneers came into War Eagle stadium and played some of the best defense that I've seen in a long time. Davie County did their part in stopping themselves early on by fumbling the opening kick and a botched fake punt in the first half. Britt capitalized and led 10-0 at the half. Britt came right out in the third quarter and contiunued their dominance. A pass play that covered nearly 50 yds accounted for the second Britt TD as Brandon Gee (i think) snatched the ball away from the Davie defensive back on an apparent interception and raced into the end zone, 16-0 Britt. Davie came to life late and got a field goal to get on the board and then scored again with minutes to go and got the 2 point conversion to close to within 8 points at 19-11. Britt could not get a first down and punted back to Davie but they were kept out of the end zone and as the last hail mary attempt fell to the ground the Britt Buccaneers fans began the chant........
