    One team is in for sure -the #2 Mount Olive Trojans from NC as they won the Southest Regionals this afternoon!!!!

    The eight team field will gather at the USA Baseball Complex in Cary between 5/28 to 6/4/11.

    My Winona State Warriors just got in...they play the first game on Saturday at 1pm

    I will be out there basically all week long from Saturday-Saturday. Should be some great baseball.

    It won't feel the same without UC-San Diego in the house this year though.

    Let the games begin now that the rains have moved out.

    Good luck to the Mout Olive Trojans. Hope to see the stud Carter Capps on the mound. They play at 5:00 tomorrow.

    Is Michael Knox cleared to play? Would be great to see a local boy smash the ball like he does.

    Knox is back. Heard Capps may not go today?

    Just took the tarp off the field at USA and it looks great. Some spotty showers left in the area but we should be good to go today at the park.

    congrats to the Winona State Warriors for their first round win...it was a great trip over and great to see some alumni down here supporting the Warriors...good luck the rest of the way.

    Mt. Olive wins their 1st game 3-1. Pete Levitt has a perfect game going until 7th inning & Knox homered in his 1st game back.

    #16 Winona State Warriors beat #3 Central Missouri Mules

    Congrats to the Warriors for bringing their A game & getting the first upset win of the tournament, although I don't think any win at this time of year is an upset.

    Good to see Apex's Michael Knox still has his grove on. Hopefully we will see Capps when Mount Olive faces Winona State on Monday at 5:00.

    You gotta love the team names such as the Mules, Marauders, Seawolves and Argonauts to name a few.
