The game that was postponed last night is being played today in Boone. The Varsity Girls start at 3:30pm. I'll be back on here tonight, after I make the long trip back home to let you know the outcome and give some details. :xyzthumbs

Well, the Lady Rockets went up to Boone today, and they must have brought that Freedom hangover with them! After falling behind 10-2 to start the game the Lady Rockets, or should I say the gang that couldn't shoot straight, finally got the ball inside and took control of the game. However it wasn't until the second half when Reynolds went up by 20 did things seem somewhat normal, Alex Thompson FINALLY hit a three, and all was well in Rocket land! No one could shoot tonight, don't know if it was the Saturday game, the travel to Boone, the "dark" gym, or what, but Reynolds really struggled behind the three point line tonight. ACR cruised to a 66-56 victory after being up 20, but give Watauga credit, they played a great game. Oh well I'll take any road win in conference play, that is all that matters, 4-0 in conference! ACR has played 6 straight road games, counting the Christmas Tourney in High Point. I am sure they are a little tired of playing on the road, and are looking forward to Monday and Wednesday night when they have a couple of non-conference home games, before traveling to South Caldwell on Friday night.
