East Forsyth Standout Rob Wodarczyk decided recently to continue to be an Eagle at Emory University. Very happy for him and his family. Rob spent three years at the varsity level for the Eagles, being very versatile, willing to play wherever the team had needs. He has played 5 different positions in his three years including 1st, 2nd, SS, 3rd, and LF. You know Emory is getting a stud. Wodarczyk has helped carry the Eagles into the playoffs his three years on varsity, and will hopefully carry them deep into the playoffs tonight. I can't wait to watch this kid at the next level. He's a natural switch hitter, but has been forced to swing from the right side. I, personally, like the left-handed swing. Either way, this kid hits seeds. Seems like he never gets cheated at the plate. I'm sure other coaches and fans that have seen this kid have been very impressed with his approach at the plate and in the field. Wodarczyk is also a Brain in the classroom, which is one of the reasons he's going to Emory. Great academics, great athletics. Should be a great fit for him, and I'm sure he will make contributions as soon as he steps on campus. What a teammate, leader, and role model. Parents : If you want your kid to play like someone, follow Rob. He's got it all!

What a great school. That impresses me more than his athletic abilities--not to say that those aren't impressive. I wonder if he will become a Dr?

Congratulations to the Wodarczyk family in what is a thrilling time and a proud moment.

    Emory----WOW!!!!!!!

most likely he will become a professional baseball player coming out of that University. Great powerhouse in college baseball. Watch out for Rob Wodarczyk. Give him 3 years and he'll be on his way. If that doesn't work out, I'm sure he has great aspirations to do something productive with that education down there. Dr. Most likely. Or maybe a lawyer. After watching this kid, i know he can do anything he sets his mind to. Good luck tonight Mr. Wodarczyk. Make NC proud down in the dumps of Georgia! You're a stud!!!!
